Arbitrum launches proposal to allocate 200 million ARB to gaming ecosystem

The Gaming Catalyst Program proposal, spearheaded by the Arbitrum community, aims to bolster the gaming ecosystem on the platform by securing a substantial allocation of 200 million ARB from the Arbitrum DAO over the span of two years. This funding is set to be distributed among two key initiatives within the first year: a significant portion of 160 million ARB will be funneled into builder hiring and growth, while an additional 40 million ARB will be dedicated to infrastructure bounties.

It's worth noting that the earmarked figures represent the maximum amount of ARB that can be deployed to propel the development of gaming on Arbitrum. In the event that there are any unutilized ARB from these initiatives at the conclusion of the GCP, these funds will be promptly returned to the DAO.
